Description: Six different seed drill fur row openers were evaluated on three soil types in relation to spring wheat emergence, seeding depth, andfinal yield under conventional and conservation tillage. The experiment was conducted over a period of three growing seasons. Results showed a significant differ ence in seeding depth andplant populations at emergence for twoof the six furrow openers tested. No significant difference in grain yield occurred among the openers.
