Description: An elasto-plastic model has been developed for cohe sive soils which reflects both the elastic and plastic stress-strain behaviour of soils. Two yield surfaces were used to calculate the plastic strain underhydrostaticcompressionand plastic shear strain associated withthefailuresurface.
