Description: Renewable and alternative forms of energy are providing communities with greener and more sustainable sources of energy. In particular, farms offer a plethora of energy resources due to the land, topography and the agricultural products they produce. While farms offer these resources, it can be difficult for farmers to determine their optimal renewable energy technology configuration. Current electronic calculators provide a means for assessing one type of renewable energy at a time but do not provide a side-by-side comparison of different technologies.
