Description: High relative humidity (RH) occurred in greenhouse in cold regions which can lead to plant diseases. In this study, a dehumidification method using air to air heat exchanger was evaluated. The heat exchanger was set to run all year around. The experiment was conducted for 14 months from September 2009 to November 2010. The greenhouse climatic parameters were monitored. Based on RH control results, the heat exchanger controlled the RH very well during cold weather condition, but it was inefficient during humid and warm weather climate. Thus, the heat exchanger is a good choice for greenhouse dehumidification in cold and mild weather condition.
