Description: The characteristic of agriculture in South Korea is the maximization of sufficient production in the region based on a high level of labor concentration. This traditional Korean farming method is due to the relatively small land and high population density. However, labor-intensive structure is inefficient in terms of cost, and as the agricultural labor population of South Korea grows older, this traditional method of agriculture may not be sustainable. It means that Korean agriculture needs to escape from traditional labor-intensive agriculture while maintaining the production to some extent. FarmBot may be a good response to the agricultural situation in Korea, as it is a way to take care of each crop through robot arms and camera equipment but does not require high labor. Thus, in this study, FarmBot is introduced to select and grow crops, and to lay the foundation for a labor-intensive method of agriculture while maintaining high production to some extent, and to evaluate the characteristics of new farming methods.
