Description: Rainfall and runoff erosivity indices for the Canadian Maritime Provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island were calculated based on the once-in-2-yr, 6-h rainfall. Isoerodent maps were plotted based on the calculated rainfall and runoff erosivity indices. Another set of maps with corrections for winter conditions were also plotted. A finer resolution of R values is now available for the Maritime Provinces that will improve the quality of soil erosion and conservation designs based on the USLE.
